About the Artist

Angela Faustina, Flourishing Florence, 2021. Florence, AL 0

“I create hyperreal fruit paintings that capture the lush, fleeting moments when color, texture, and flavor are at their most alive. My work is about more than just fruit — it’s about savoring beauty before it slips away. Each painting is a reminder to slow down, look closer, and celebrate the sweetness of the present moment.”

If a piece speaks to you, make it yours — there’s only one.

Angela Faustina’s Resume

Artist Statement + Bio

Angela Faustina’s sticky-sweet oil paintings transform glistening fruit into vibrant worlds you can almost taste. Capturing perfectly ripe, juicy fruit flesh in each brushstroke, her artwork is unapologetically alive. Living with Lupus gives her work its heartbeat: a raw mix of beauty, fragility, strength, and resilience. Her art connects the universal to the personal and lets you hold onto beauty at its peak, before it slips away. These paintings are bright, lively, intimate, and bold as hell. Walking the line between realism and idealism, these are NOT your traditional still life paintings.

Her work isn’t just about fruit—it’s about the universal experiences that connect us all. That’s why Faustina’s luminous paintings have been collected and exhibited for nearly 20 years across North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia. Her large-scale public art brightens Southeastern US cities from Atlanta to St. Pete, and her artwork is featured in art curricula worldwide. She is represented by Signet Contemporary Art in London.

Raised in South Florida, Faustina has called Atlanta home since 2015. She graduated summa cum laude in Studio Art and History from New College of Florida, with additional studies at Ringling College of Art & Design and Parsons School of Design in New York.
