Babe Walls Mural Festival: Chamblee Edition

This year I was invited to collaborate with fellow artist Grow Love on a wall for Babe Walls Mural Festival in Chamblee, GA, USA.

Grow Love and I collaborated on this 31′ by 12′ mural over the course of the 4 day-long festival. “Fertile Ground” showcases flourishing watermelon, peach, and kiwi fruits, along with their blossoms. While these fruits are currently cultivated in Georgia, they have their origins in Africa and Asia, reflecting the multicultural essence of the City of Chamblee. The piece embodies the city’s diverse identity and serves as a metaphor for the collaborative efforts of artists to connect, grow, and engage with the community. I focused on painting the fruit in the design while they masterfully created the kiwi, watermelon, and peach blossoms — in just spray paint!
