ABOUT THE ARTWORK:

My sticky sweet oil paintings transform glistening fruit into its own vibrant world. Capturing juicy pulp at the peak of ripeness highlights the beauty and vibrancy of life. My paintings are intimate, surprising, enigmatic, and bold as hell. Read more about my artwork here.

Across cultures, oranges are little powerhouses of symbolism, representing good fortune, new beginnings, happiness, love, and eternal life. In feng shui, citrus is even believed to sweep away bad luck and invite abundance into the world. If life is feeling a bit upside down, the classic recommendation is to keep nine oranges on display for good luck and prosperity. There are exactly 9 oranges in this print in the hopes it welcomes good luck and abundance into your life!
